NV Cargo Van

Nissan has been selling commercial vehicles in Canada since spring 2011 with the introduction of the NV Cargo and NV Passenger vans, followed by the NV compact cargo van in 2013. In 2014, Nissan sold 1,275 NV200 compact cargo vans in Canada, a 73 per cent increase over 2013.

All Nissan Commercial Vehicles sold in Canada are assembled in North America, with the NV Cargo and NV Passenger assembled in Canton, Miss., and the NV200 assembled in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Nissan has Canada's best commercial van warranty* which applies to its entire commercial vehicle line-up, consisting of the  NV200 Compact Cargo van, NV Cargo van, and NV Passenger van. The warranty, applicable to model year 2015 vehicles, increases basic limited warranty coverage from three years/60,000 kilometres to five years/160,000 kilometres or whichever comes first. The powertrain limited warranty has also been extended from five years/100,000 kilometres to five years/160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

"As one of the newest nameplates in the commercial vehicle segment, we need to prove to our customers that Nissan fully stands behind our innovative, durable Nissan NV Cargo, NV Passenger and NV200 Cargo vans. One of the best ways to do this is by offering the best warranty in the business," says Steven Rhind, director of marketing at Nissan Canada Inc. "Listening to feedback from our customers is the essence of our commercial vehicle business. With this elongated warranty, we're reaffirming to our customers that Nissan builds a van that can keep up and never let owners down, because when their vans are down, so are their businesses."

Nissan's new warranty program is inspired by its rigorous testing process. Nissan commercial vehicles endure more than 6,600 tests during the development process, including being put through a 140-degree heat chamber, salt spray tunnel, frame twister, shaker machine, pothole-ridden roads and grueling brake tests.
